During my marketing career, I have had the privilege of producing content, creating useful resources, leading organizational tasks, and redesigning assets. Here are just a few examples!  

Website Development 

Learned how to build two campaign websites from scratch and under tight deadlines, applying UX best practices and competitor research. The sites reached over 2,000 voters, about 22% of the electorate, exceeding the "excellent" industry benchmark for local elections.

Postcard Design 

Designed three targeted campaign postcards using strong visual structure and empathetic, on-message language, tailoring content by audience and election phase. Helped plan mail routes focused on high-turnout and swing districts.

Market Research 

Led in-depth research on local housing policy by analyzing voter sentiment and tracking approval and disapproval trends prior to the candidate running on the issue. Collected and synthesized data from city council meetings over two years and interviewed housing advocates and opponents to assess viable solutions, presenting evidence-based recommendations to inform campaign strategy

Podcast Production & Audio Editing

Proposed and launched a podcast from concept to publication, leading audience research, episode planning, recording, editing, distribution, and promotion. Expanded IFSEL’s reach in the public school sector by making SEL more accessible to educators, while building skills in content strategy, audio production, storytelling, cross-platform publishing, and audience growth.​

Testimonial Webpage 

At The Institute for Social & Emotional Learning, I made high-quality testimonials publicly accessible by uploading videos to our website. I crafted key takeaways for each and strategically organized them by job role, event, and diversity to enhance user experience

Email Database Organization 

Spearheaded the automation of IFSEL's marketing emails by independently analyzing 17,000 subscriber contacts in HubSpot. This involved identifying international user regions, recovering over 2,000 missing first names, and refining job titles for accuracy.

 

In a company that thrives on personal connection, using first names and promoting nearby events is key to fostering engagement.

IFSEL's Resource Database

I co-led an initiative with the Business Manager to centralize all our resources on a single webpage for easy user access. Our team uploaded over 530 recommendations, research materials, and activities, integrating Amazon Affiliate links on more than half to generate passive income.

Social Media Design

At UW Bothell's Writing and Communications Center, our previous profile photos were out of date and didn't match our brand's personality. Working with the Assistant Director, my team and I updated the color scheme to match the University of Washington brand, used visuals instead of words, and created circular logos instead of outdated squares.

Website Management 

Redesigned the University of Washington Bothell's Writing Center's blog to provide students with academic resources. While working remotely, I independently took charge of organizing the material, updating the color scheme, and making the layout user-friendly.
